Live in Scandi. Nobody on lake yet. The lake is not much for fish anymore. I wouldn't waste my time. There are better lakes to try. It froze out last year. Good luck!

Has anyone been ice fishing this lake this year. If so how are you doing? I know last year we did good on Northern and even pulled a 37" out of there. I havent gotten there yet this year.

Hey Lakelinkheads,

Went to Silver lake 5:00 a.m. Saturday. Motored to the middle of the lake. Looked around. Motored back to the ramp.

This lake is soooo weed-choked it makes Weyawega and Iola look like open water. I couldn't find 10 square yards of unchoked water. I was lucky my motor didn't get fouled. What a sucky way to start the weekend. I then went to Bass Lake.

I've had decent luck on Casey Lake by fishing in the back bay with a scumfrog in the lilly pads or a popper fished in the evenings around them. As far as bass go in the main lake, I haven't had much luck there. Once in a while I'd get a couple but usually that's where the northern really hang out. Of course they generally run about the size of the handle on my Estwing. Good luck.

Hey Lakelinkheads,

I'll be out on Silver early Sat morning, Casey on Sunday morning. If anyone has tips or suggestions please post. I'll be going for bass. Last time I fished both lakes, I got skunked. I've been doing so well lately that I figured I better strike while the iron's hot.
