Youd be much better off running 15 or 20lb powerpro with a 15lb flouro leader.

There's something odd looking about that fish.  My initial thought was actually a brown trout.

Fished the end of the south pier this evening. Caught this 4 pound coho on a bottom rig with a medium golden shiner. Fish was caught on the lake side. Colder water is moving in.  A handful of boats were fishing close to the harbor. Only a few others fishing the pier and didn't see any other fish caught.

Went out Saturday night. No good. My mom caught whatever those smaller fish that keep jumping are. Look like chubs to me. Too big to be alewives. Jumped around all night. They were having a field day on bugs. Knats were so heavy they were going up our noses and everything. Might explain why we were the only ones out there. Water is real high but piss warm. Nice breeze coming offshore which was weird because usually it's a warm wind that comes offshore but for some reason it was a freezing cold wind. Heard some idiots from the wedding at the Blue Harbor yelling at someone for being in the water around 1:30. Thought for sure we were gonna have a floater...Anyways nothing going on out there right now guys. Let me know if anyone gets anything out there. Tight lines and good weather brothers...

You need to have the lines OUT OF THE WATER TO DIP NET.  Happened to me and the warden gave me a pass.
