Fished fron 930 pn to 200 am in south pier and river, no hits for us, saw one 20 lb king taken on a shinner. The fish was a male and had the kype, with well pronounced canines, fish was gold, not quite yet dark, other than that, saw no real sign of fish, hit port wash after, with no success.

For sure not a pink, first glance I said brown but then I looked and it's a steelhead that sat in the water and lost its color. As for line, 10 lb braid 20 lb leader with braid you will cast at least 30% farther, and with no stretch you feel everything and the hooks drive them self home...tie the right knots and snug them up with fl carbon....peoples number one mistake is pulling the knot so tight it's cut half way from the get go.....don't forget to moisten it haha

Youd be much better off running 15 or 20lb powerpro with a 15lb flouro leader.
