It comes down for about a hour or so in the morning then stops. Just concerned whats in our river if you know anything please post it.

Guys are picking up plenty of post-spawn walleyes on the river yet. You don't have to weed thru a bunch of shorts. Quality size 16-21" are being caught. Mostly the downtown area to the groeler lunch. But you can get them from the mouth up as well. Jig and plastic, minnow or leeches have been working along with 3-way and flies. Whiteys are moving up quickly now too. Most guys are picking them up in the same areas as the eyes using the same rigs. Stop in and grab some bait and get out there
just wondering if people have notice a big difference in the numbers of walleye keepers and white bass in the last two years ? after the big carp kill off two yrs ago and a sheephead kill off last yr. just wondering what happened or whats going on.

I made a report last night but accidently uploaded the wrong video... I appreciate all of the excellent advice I received from fellow lake-linkers but I just couldn't put it together yesterday. I have only fished in rivers like this a few times and I had a real hard time dealing with the current. I did catch my first rock river walleye so that was a small success. After trying Fort for several hours I went over to Jefferson and proceeded to get my butt kicked even more. We filmed the highlights of the day.
I went this past weekend,(sunday) and got a decent amount of fish. 8 whitebass, 5 saugars(all dinks, one came in at 14 inches, biggest though) and 1 catfish. Fished from 3-7. Had better days but otherwise, it was a good day. Took out my boat also, and it was a great startup. Mabye more fish should be in since the rain from yesterday. They bite very slow though. Pm me if you would like to know what technique I did to get some to bite.
