Question for you regulars out there.  What's the best/safest way of getting out on the marsh? Never been out there ice fishing. Might try one last time this weekend before I get the boat ready.

I took my shack off of Bartels last night. I spent all day yesterday hoping that the open fishings holes under were not flushing down. They were. 8 inch hole expanded t about 10". There was still tons of ice but I pulled my shack off because I was more concerned about the shoreline breaking up and the 4 holes under my shack growing. This was at 9 pm last night. Bartels beach was still in good shape at that time.

Well that' a rap on my hard water season shed hunting next weekend. Went back out after those crappie but no dice. Did run across  a bakers dozen of gills tho. Red and white spike combo was the ticket today. Fished from noon till dark in 2 fathoms of water good luck and tight lines

Ice tripper gets the vocabulary prize of the week for his use of the word "proffered".  Well done vernacular sir.
