We fished totally flat water all day on Monday but still managed a pretty decent stringer. Even had a 20" smallie to put on the wall. Channel edge's with half a crawler's.

Fished the Rainbow again today with Peter Cysiewski of Nekoosa. We caught a lot of shorts but did get 5 keeper walleyes. Pete didn't want his picture on Lake Links so no pictures today.

Didn't go to the Rainbow until 10 o'clock this morning. Thought it was going to storm but it never did. It was cloudy at first and then cleared up. Neil Coulthurst of Minocqua and son in law Tye Schneider from West Bend fished with me. We caught their limit of walleyes and some nice perch. Most of the fish came on jig and crawlers. Didn't see much of the mayflies, they may be about done...

I was on the rainbow Yesterday and this morning with clients. Monday it was with Corey and Austen from Madison and Doug from Minneapolis. We caught 11 keeper walleyes. Most came on jig and minnow and some on leeches and slip bobbers. There was no wind and mayflies all over the place but the fish bit anyway.  This morning the 4 th Dillon Hake from Fort Atkinson and I went to the flowage early and got our walleye limit in about 90 minutes. Still no wind but fewer mayflies. Most fish were on slip bobbers and leeches.

Battled all the elements today rain, wind ,cold and mayflies but we prevailed with a nice limit if walleyes. The perch we're tough only boated one. All the fish were caught on slip bobber's tipped with leeches and minnows.  I also had a cancellation for Thursday and I will give $50 off.

Nice to know the bullhead population is still strong there.  Has been 15 years since I fished them there.

Had a great day with the Holly boys, Bob,Rich and Jeff or as I told them the Bullhead Kings as we boated about 60 bullheads. There was a couple of times we had 8 fish on at once. Never have I ever caught bullheads like that. We battled the wind and mayfly hatch but still managed 6 keeper walleyes and 13 nice perch.

Don't like that east wind on the flowage but did manage a pretty decent stringer. Most fish were on channel edge's with slip bobber's tipped with leeches.  I had a cancellation for Friday. Give $75 off

June 7th, I asked a friend of mine Scott Hermanson to join me for a learning day. We looked at some new great spots mostly channel edge's. We had a few nice walleyes several jumbo perch and a couple keeper northerns. Then I got to watch Scott handle two bobber rods at the same time one with a 20" plus smallie and an 18" on the other. Couple of pics and let them go. All of our fish were caught on slip bobber's tipped with leeches.
