Each year is different but mid November at the earliest. Lower wall or coal dock is best only when water is dirty or at night. Last year wasn't that good. 2 years ago was. Can get some here and there all the way into mid January, sometimes later.

When do the Burbot show up around here? Unsure as to which thread to post this under, I fish by the power plant. Came last year and guess was too late for them. Some said the lower wall, which is where you walk over the tiny bridge and sneak in between a ton a of people anchored with there rods touching the water correct, or is it further down where there is no metal to reach over to net fish? Obviously very new to the area, just wanted Burbot came several times and tough as heck to fish, not used to fishing here for Trout not being able to see a thing but sure Burbot are way easier to catch.
Coming this weekend to hopefully get my first salmon I've fished me before here with no luck but I've been spending all year researching and learning bout them. But are there lots of them this year and would shiners work Cuz last year I saw a dude slamming what I think was coho idk I'm only 14 so I need a lil help
Please PM me with any information. Thanks.
