First time out on Pike this year, and after reading reports on the Wis. fishing discussion site ...they proved to be accurate. Fished from 5-9pm in deep water trolling and anchored lot of suspended fish, but also alot of boat traffic which limited areas to fish. Managed a couple of 'gils an an undersize 'eye. with not much wind got quite warm til the sun went down. Water clarity limited lot of floating weeds...all in all just nice to wet a line. Launched at Johnny's watch the landing little slick with algae on the concrete.

My wife and I were out late this afternoon. Lake was like glass . Hit a few spots on the southeast bay shorelines , got a 21 inch northern and a 17.5 large mouth bass in the boat. Water temps still down. I would like to thank the 3 guys in the aluminum boat that came over and would not stop jaw jacking. Even with them being more that a long cast away and my bad hearing could hear the whole conversation pretty clearly .

Went out today for about hour and half. Walked out from the beach, shorelines are starting to get very bad and ice is honey combed pretty good but otherwise for fishing got nothing didn’t really try to hard since we’d been to a couple other lakes already but I think today is a wrap for my ice season
The shanty is now at a point where the roof is flush with the ice.Either it is on bottom or floating. The DNR has been notified.
What an idiot.
He will be charged for removal and fined as well.(unless he gets it off the lake)
