Fished Park Lake from shore last night July 1, and I caught three LMB's for the second time this year. I'm also at 15 bass now. Nothing big, but catching fish is fun. Number 13, 13 1/2", number 14, 12", and number 15, 15", what are the chances of that happening? If you do fish from shore, roll in mosquito spay before you go as they are all too willing of bitters.

Fished Park Lake this morning for about an hour. I caught my 6th and 7th LMB's of the season from Park Lake. They were 12 & 15 inches long. The shad are up on the shoreline splashing about. They will be spawning soon. The carp are really starting to show themselves in numbers. Good luck and CPR!

went out 2 weeks ago and the crappies had moved out from the spots from previous week......guess we'll have to wait for opening weekend to hit the eyes and the bass....does anyone know how the stripers / white bass are ?
Did a tour of lake yesterday and far northwest bay is open almost to launch on hwy 44. wont be long for ice out, eagles were skimming water and catching fish, little breezy but that along with the rain and warm weather yesterday will help melt the ice, talked to neighbor that lives there and his dog wasnt even able to stay on top of ice,,,,, its thin!

Went out this morning looking for a little panfish action, ended up with around 15 keepers. Ice was around 9-10" thick. Really had to work fish on the flasher to get a solid bite.
Had a fun time with my son catching catfish. Was not the plan, went for crappies and ended up with a bunch of cats. size was only 14 to 20 inches, but on an ultralight panfish rod it was very fun. Should have hole hopped and looked for a different species, but my son's depth finder died and we ended up side by side. Does make me wonder what a tipup and cutbait would do.
