I use 2.5 and 3 ounce bottom bouncers for my harnesses so I can fish 20-30 foot depths with braid or fireline. The fish are deep sometimes, shallow or in between the rest of the time. Better luck on your next outing....

Fished by trolling and with crawler harness for 3 days with no success. I fished all over Oconto, Little Sturgeon Bay and out of Suamico. I wasn’t out early and late though. Mostly fishing 11-6. It’s a big body of water I marked plenty of fish just could not get it going.

Fished out of Oconto 11am to 3pm today. Started with crawler harnesses in 3 to 5 feet of water. Had a fish on before I could get my second or 3rd rod out. Action was fast and furious at times.  Kept 4 in the first 30 minutes.  Then tried some different things before I kept my 5th fish. Caught a few more walleye on flicker shads in the same depth. Also caught 5 pike and a white bass. Biggest pike was about 28 inch. Ended up catching 10 walleye and kept 5 between 16 and 20 inches.  Had my crawlers getting bitten off a lot, I'm guessing perch or white bass.

I've never fished the bay as far north as Oconto.  Is there a weed line or rock pile anywhere to cast for pike or bass?

Set lines at 930. Fish are shallow 5-12ft. Caught 1 on A harness rest on cranks. Bright colors seemed to work best. Fish were 19-25". Good luck.

Fished out of North Bay yesterday.  Caught a limit of eaters, 17 - 22".  Started north of the harbor and the water was 52 deg. and nothing was doing.  Moved south of the harbor and found 56 and started catching fish on crawler harnesses with a 1/8 oz keel sinker 30 ft back from the boards.  The blades were a mixture of purple and gold tiger.

Launched today at nine am @ co Park 2. Many rigs in the lot and boats scattered north and south. We ended up with 2 walleyes and 1 northern on harnesses. Didn’t notice too much action and the majority were gone by early afternoon.
