I've only tried jigging once my trolling motor died from trolling crawler harnesses. Only caught northern and steelhead jigging.

I was just trying to see if trolling has been better than jigging.

I usually post reports when I'm catching fish and have been pretty descriptive as well. There's plenty of fish out there.  Not afraid that someone is gonna get all the fish in my spot. And they are not in the same spots every day. You need to search for them. Haven't been out in a few days though. Will be going out tomorrow. If I catch them I'll post.

MOON PHASE
Last Quarter

Went out south to Pensaukee on Friday 6/16 targeting walleye from 7am to 1pm.  Had a great day!  Ended up catching 16 walleyes 2 sheep and a nice northern. No giant walleyes but a few 22 inch fish mixed in with a lot of 16 to 18inch fish.  Trolled crawler harnesses at 1.3 mph in a bunch of depths but finally found fish in 7 FOW on the edge of pensaukee shoal. Only brought 2 dozen crawlers and ran out of bait. Probably could of caught more fish.

My dad and I are planning on coming up to Oconto next week for perch. Any one know how the bite is?  Also, neither have ever gone out here before so any tips would be appreciated.

Went out on the bay today. Nearly filled our limit for two guys today. 8 eyes caught that were eater sizes. Bite started at about 5:00 and seemed to be pretty finicky until we left at about 7:00. The fish were definitely there, but not very aggressive with the bite. Anything perch colored would work out there. We fished at the mouth of the river. Good luck!
