Look fake to me. That hump is only a few feet deep. When I went over it last year it marked nothing like that and it is so shallow the boats would be sticking out of the water. I have some knowledgeable friends that live here and I'll be seeing them thursday. Im sure they will verify it's not accurate as well. Plus I doubt the lake association here would allow that to stay submerged if it did happen. Where did u get the pics from?
I have been eyeing this lake for a while, and have never fished it due to the lack of public access. Did they finally put in a new launch? I know that there has been a lot of back and forth over the launch, and last I knew it had been approved but has yet to be built. Is there any public access as of now for kayaks/parking?
there's probably a few in North as there are/were in Pine... musky love to travel, and the Oconomowoc river, while small does connect to Okauchee, and the small creek from North to Pine
but not a fishable population as musky cannot spawn successfully in that whole system... they can go thru the motions, but there's never been any viable reproduction in Okauchee, Oconomowoc, Fowler or LaBelle according to the DNR Sue Beyler
MOON PHASE (72%)
How low is the musky population in this lake? I assume very light?
in the midst of Pike fishing and catching the other night, I had one get off that sure looked pretty bright green, but couldn't quite confirm....
