MOON PHASE (99%)
Waning Gibbous

CONDITIONS
Sunny

AIR TEMP
71° - 75° F
Fished Saturday from 8AM-2:20PM half way between dam and lake. Action was much slower than two weeks ago but still enough to keep us on our toes. Ended up catching about 25 walleyes (2 legal) 3 crappie, 3 whitebass, 5 catfish and lots of submerged timber. used mostly minnows on river rigs, but also had luck on red floating jigs. Action was best mid morning up until the breeze picked up. I am confident we would have done well in the later afternoon, but had a 2 hour drive home that I didn't want to make in the dark. We used some large sucker minnows and had quite a few hit and runs where the minnows were crushed. I am guessing these were cats as well. Fishing should just get better as the temps start to slide this week. Good luck.

It's been fairly slow. A few crappies and eyes once in a while in certain spot on spots. Water temp hasn't dropped much and the flow is still pretty slow. It'll get better as the fall temps set in.
