MOON PHASE (3%)
Waning Crescent

Been a decent bite when using the proper techniques on Nebags and the area lakes as well. It is impressive to see the size of the walleyes increased to where they are at now.  Plenty of fun 15-18" fish to be caught.  The new rule is harvest fish have to be 18" or better to keep.  I dont get this rule..  Seems these are the prime spawning fish and should be put back for future and even more productive fishing in the days coming. With that being said, we have not kept a fish out of the area lakes all season! CPR is our preference and clients are welcome to keep fish, but have been cool about releaseing them.  Tight Lines, Capt. JH

Nebags has been an on and off bite.  We are finding nice mixed species loads by cast smaller rapalas.  Mix in some time with jigs and plastics and you can make a great day of multispecies.  So far this year, we have caught a lot of fish, but all have gone back to the water!  good luck

Fishing has been decent.  Slow trolling off sharp breaks has been a good key to catching a few fish!  Starting to get some nice smallies with a mix in of lots of walleyes.  Remember to check the regulations!  Pretty sure guys are taking 15" eyes when the limit is 18".  And with that being said, we shouldnt keep them bigger fish.  This lake has a great chance to put out some nice fish in the near future.  Hope we can work together to make that happen.  C and R guys!  tight lines,

JH

Hi everyone,

I will be staying in Brule 6/8 to 6/14 and would appreciate any timely advice for pan fish, walleye, and bass fishing on this lake.  Not looking to fill the freezer, just catch enough for a fish fry or 2.

Thanks in advance.  Feel free to Private Message me.

Kevin

Crappies are doing continuing to do there magic.  Fun to see em..  But we arent fishing for em because of the obvious reason of this lake taking a beating to many years in a row.  Hopfully we get some good year classes coming up!!

Anyone have any tips for fishing this time of year? I am renting a cabin for a few days and would love to take my dad and 3yr old out for a good fishing trip.

Thanks
