I don't do a lot of pan fishing, but I saw gills on beds in the Frenchress sandpit.  Hopefully water is high enough to get in and watch out for the steel drum to the right of the big log.  I now have to buff out a foot long scratch on my hull.

There are multiple landings depending on type of boat/ non boat.  Sunfish landing, which is on the E/NE side of O' Leary's, is where I generally put in.  There are ramps in Potosi (water is low and might be difficult to put in there), Lynn Hollow and Bertum.  You can google maps pool 11 and see all the ramps.  The only bait shop I go to for live bait is the Bait Shack down on Kuerper (spelling?) in Dubuque.  Nice selection of worms and minnows.  On the Iowa side you have Mud Lake Marina, some people call it that and other call it Hawkeye Marina, Hawthorne Boat ramp, and Schmidt Harbor.

Going to try and get a thread started on here for local area (Dubuque, Platteville, and Kieler area) for fishing.  I see how Pool 9 thread is and I am kind of jealous.  We can talk fishing, local fishing leagues (1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from sunfish boat launch at O'Learys), and other general questions.

So I was out this past Sunday, it was warm and water was low.  Fish are still on beds and some have moved to points off the main channel.  I did pick some off on frog!!  I am super excited about that.  Nothing beats top water blow ups.  Did happen to see some blue gill beds in the shallows, they should be starting or about to start their spawn.  Also, lots of carp rolling on the mud flats.

Hoping this thread takes off, thanks for reading and tight lines everyone.
