Fished last night, overall pretty slow but hit one little hot spot, got two nice eaters and this big guy, just under 30" (cpr). More boats out than I have seen in awhile especially for a week night.

MOON PHASE (38%)
Above 80° F
Fished Monday evening till midnight, no other trailers in the lot. We casted cranks and did well. We had 9 nice eyes between 15 and 23, lost a few more. My son did have one large fish hit and make a big run, cut off 30 lb braid, we guessed it was a musky or very big northern.

Fished the river last night for the 1st time in a few weeks. Casting crank baits I caught a few fish but nothing to take home. Caught a rock bass, a 16" smallie and this guy that was a little short of 28", all still swimming. Only two other trailers in the lot.

I'd wait until the season is open. Then first full week of June has been good to me.
