MOON PHASE (99%)
Waning Gibbous
I fished the river Thursday thru Saturday. Caught smallies, walleye and crappies but they weren't jumping in the boat. Water temp was 67°. The leaves were just starting to change. Lots of blasting for birds Saturday morning. I ran into the white bearded guide on the water Saturday. He wasn't doing any better than I was when I saw him. Later D.W.

The River is at normal or slightly below. We fished with the owner of the Bait Barn in Pembine yesterday. The smallies were on fire! We were using blown up night crawlers on a slip sinker setup. Stop in at his shop he has the lowest prices on bait around. Night Crawlers at just $2.50 a DZ. He also has a great deal of info on where to fish, what to use for bait, how to rig up and what you could expect to catch right now. Good luck fishing! Bobbers Down, Tightlines and Fish On! Nutter
