MOON PHASE (19%)
Waxing Crescent

CONDITIONS
Cloudy

ICE DEPTH
6 inches

AIR TEMP
26° - 30° F

Tough fishing out there today. 6" of ice, 2" of not so good ice/froze slush. Saw a few wheelers out there today. 1 side by side.

Wife caught 2 cappies and I had a perch. Missed a few others (on tip downs).

Not a whole lot of action, was cloudy and windy. Fished from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Keep those lines tight.

MOON PHASE (26%)
Waning Crescent

CONDITIONS
Snowing

ICE DEPTH
6 inches

AIR TEMP
26° - 30° F

Conditions vary very drastically. There was anywhere from 3.5-8 inches of ice depending on where you go. The snow forced the ice down, creating slush and a nice mini fall every step if you are on certain areas. Fished 15 feet of water with little success. A few decent crappie and some smaller gills. Only fish that bit were extremely aggressive. Small jig and a mustache worm. Be careful still, as the ice conditions will change drastically overnight.

MOON PHASE
New Moon

CONDITIONS
Cloudy

AIR TEMP
46° - 50° F

Fished below the dam early afternoon.  Water fairly high, no one fishing off apron of dam.  Went on side by creek off flow, figured that panfish would be around but no go, ice jig with gulp and northland minnow jig nothing.  Everyone down there throwing plugs so I put on a Berkeley 8 inch sandworm on a weighted worm hook.  Got bit off in front of creek mouth, then connected on about a 36 incher out in front of rocks.  No net but good release without taking fish out of water.  Figured I'd used enough of my luck with that, gimped it outa there.  No deer seen on backroad route to Spencer either.

Thanks. So sounds like no more driving cars out there, just atv's?
