I've been hearing favorable reports about TR and Manty. South pier Manty was quiet with only a couple people on it until about 4 am. Then the circus began and the fish were jumping. Water is cold, lot's of bait available.
North pier Manty quieter, but about 10 fish caught over the night.
Casting and live bait were both working. This was my first trip out to the piers over night in about a decade. I would like to thank the guys that were out on the north pier a lot. Freely gave fishing intel (bait, lures, tips) and helped out landing my two kings. May the fish gods shine upon you for you help.
