Vehicles have been going every which way off Ferry's Landing.  The most activity has been to the north heading toward the smokestack.  We have been fishing anywhere from 100-200 yards off the Wisconsin side.  Water depths have been 35-40 feet.  We have been hitting the crappies at 24-28 feet.  Some good size too, but the bite has been slow.  Good luck.

What is best way to head off of Ferry Landing? And what depth to set up in?

Ferry's Landing has some ice ruts all the way down to the river.  I have an all-wheel drive Journey and had no problem last week.

Okay thanks, that's what I thought after looking at the map. Gonna try to get out there in the next couple weeks. Tight lines.

The Ferry Landing is in North Hudson.  Turn west on Sommer St and take it down to the park.  Turn right and you will see the gate for Ferry Landing.

Skip this lake and head out onto the river, Ferry landing is not far from there.

MOON PHASE (17%)
Waning Crescent

ICE DEPTH
13 inches

The Ice has puddles on top, but was solid enough to walk on, probably wouldn't drive on, but I saw some tracks. Forgot the waxies at home, so I was skunked. Saw some pop cans and cigarettes frozen in the ice, which was disappointing.
