Where do you guys access the river? I have fished the damn/falls area in Sheb Falls. Where is a good starting point in the Johnsonville area? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Wow, 40+! I've gone to texas riggin because it seems to weed out the smaller smallies, I might only catch a dozen fish in a trip, but none of them are usually less than 10".

To answer your question, I have fished in Falls and in Johnsonville in the last few weeks. I'm really looking for size so I try to find those 90 degree cuts in the river which tend to have 5 to 6 feet holes and some bigger fish.

Thanks for the advice, I'll give the white a try. Tight lines!

hey riverdweller... how far up the river have you gone? up past hwy o? try using a white mister twister tail, and watch your numbers go way up. its not uncommon for me to catch 40+ fish in 2 hours of time.

Fished in Sheboygan Falls last night. My buddy caught 8 little smallies, a 22" northern, and a nice 9 inch crappie on beetles spins and a small stickbaint. I only landed 4 smallies, but 3 were 13", 14" and 15" and solid. Caught with texas rigged 2" craws. Good times!

First time out for the year, friend and I caught about 20 smallies. Most were 7" to 10" inches on tubes and spinner. A few 12" and one just shy of 14". One northern, 20". Missed a big smallie on a tube, heavy fish! Oh well! Sad Sad

Are these areas accessable from dry shore or would I need waders or water shoes to get into some decent fish????

Exactly what are the directions to this park if I was coming from Milwaukee???
