(Sat. 1/30) Had a group of 12 guys out on the northwest shore from 9:00 AM through 3:30 PM. Had 20 tip-ups out anywhere from 9 to 22 FOW. Had three flags go up. Lost 1 and two flags stripped the minnow. All flags hit in 9 FOW. Jigged for panfish and no luck.

Anyone know ice conditions on the nashotahs or nembahbins? Would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys. Is that a pay launch between the Nemahbins?

You could always put in at the boat lunch between the Nemahbin's and paddle to the NW corner of Upper Nemahbin through the channel into Lower Nashota as well.

Is there any carry-in access for Lower or Upper Nashotah? If so, where is it and where can you park? I just want to put in a kayak. Thanks.

Fished the north end of lower nashota on Sunday morning (~8am - 1pm). Set tip ups in various depts and jigged for a while.

the only thing we caught was a mudpuppy on a tipup. Weird...I had never seen one of these before. Definitely had not seein one in the Nashota/Nemahbin chain.

How has the bite been on Lower? Trying to decide whether to hit the N. end of Lower or go out on Upper. Thanks, and tight lines!

It wasn't enough to call it a pattern, although I've known of a few other bigger trout caught during winter, shallow.

The lake's not stocked with walleyes and there aren't that many in there, but I caught the trout with tippys set for walleyes while I jigged for...ya know, there IS at least one secret bite on Waukesha county lakes. Ore semi-secret,as I've never known anyone to take advantage of that really oddball pattern on that lake.
