MOON PHASE (41%)
Waxing Crescent

CONDITIONS
Sunny

AIR TEMP
76° - 80° F

WATER TEMP
76° - 80° F

Took the kids out to Little Cedar this afternoon. Reminded me what a pain in the arse it is to try to fish on weekends. Constant rocking from ski boats and jet skis. It is what it is but between the sunny sky and the pleasure boaters it definitely made for some tough fishing.

We did manage a handful of decent bluegills around docks and in the shade. Not much else going on. Saw a few bass swim by but they were easily spooked and didn't want anything to do with my lures.

Try again next time!

MOON PHASE (99%)
Waning Gibbous

Hey to the guys I saw last weekend bow fishing at night for carp, you were a week early!

Come back out and get the darn things out of this lake please! West side of the bay by the creek outlet is just packed full of them right now. From the private launch to knights rentals and everywhere in between. Saw over 100 today! All between 10-20 pounds and a few that must of been 30! Best time is in the early morning. 6am to 9am it seems. Been out many times here the past week and never saw so much commotion in the water. They are in thick. Come shoot em! I cant afford a bow right now. A good shot could have a boat load in hours!

Ice is a bit sketchy - thick in some places, thin in others.  I watched this guy's ATV go through the ice as it happened.  He was able to get another ATV to pull him out.  You can see this is right by the fishing pier at Ackerman's, so the water is only 3-4 feet deep there.

Where is Knights?  North end?  Is that the gravel stop by the rental area?

not sure if Knights is still letting people park and walk off in the kettle. She use to let people park for a small fee but due to people leaving garbage and not paying she might have shut it down. might wana take a drive past and knock on her door.

Any idea of how to get on the lake besides the Ackerman Park launch?
