MOON PHASE (42%)
Waning Crescent

CONDITIONS
Partly Sunny

ICE DEPTH
10 inches

AIR TEMP
36° - 40° F

It was a beautiful day. Only one flag and one fish, but at least it wasn't one of those stunted bass that we normally catch. The fish was just under 28". Caught in 5' of water on a medium shiner.

(Before any of you wise guys say no way is that fish 28", be advised that the beer can is a half quart).

Just wondering how the lake is and how the fishing is. Just wondering because no one has posted since September.

Not a report. Thinking of taking my 8yr son here with our 18' boat soon. Does this lake have a decent boat laugh and adequate parking? Thanks

The way i find springs is by watching early ice last place that freezes is usually spring areas plus when u drilling holes if u have areas that have less ice depth is also good indication in summer months I use my temp sensor and look for falling temps in small areas then mark them on maps but springs move around also hope that helps

Yes.

back in the "bubbling springs" area of the lake, of all places!

Far west end of Middle Lake. You can actually see them along the south side in the deeper area where the piers are.

I have been told that there are springs in this lake...can anyone confirm this? If so, any ideas where they are located? Thanks!

MOON PHASE (38%)
Waxing Crescent

Found steady bluegill action this afternoon. Fished shallow along piers and shoreline using ice fishing jig and waxworms with bobber set about 2'. Got some with red plastics too but more on waxies.
