Lauderdale Lakes, Walworth County
The way i find springs is by watching early ice last place that freezes is usually spring areas plus when u drilling holes if u have areas that have less ice depth is also good indication in summer months I use my temp sensor and look for falling temps in small areas then mark them on maps but springs move around also hope that helps
MOON PHASE (38%)
Found steady bluegill action this afternoon. Fished shallow along piers and shoreline using ice fishing jig and waxworms with bobber set about 2'. Got some with red plastics too but more on waxies.
MOON PHASE (69%)
26° - 30° F
Be careful on the lake. Shorelines had firmed up a little but still iffy. There were a few open spots right next to solid ice. Some parts of Green wide open. I think it'll be safe walking this weekend but it'll start going fast.
For the fishing, lots of hit and runs and a few small pike.
