Jarhead if you can get on the crappies it was worth fishinAnderson. I fished it twice in a week and a half 1st time got on the crappies hitting good on minnow and jigs. Second was last Friday and they kept following it up and then swimming away. Was on fish all day but only got a few to commit to biting. Good luck to everyone. Anyone have a decent panfish or walleye lake to try in the area. I have only fished a few lakes in the area I head up from Green Bay occasionally.

Has anyone been on bass lake or reservoir pond at all? Thinking of heading up this weekend. Curious of what ice conditions where at all on these lakes. Thank you for any info! Pm if you would like.

Anderson is garbage in comparison to lake just a tad north (Lakewood Townsend) area lakes are awesome! Stay off pickerel and Townsend flowage if unless you have the urge to smash hammer handles all day

I wouldn't waist my time on Anderson.  There are better lakes to try that would have safer ice than Anderson would give you...that lake freezes like crap on a cold year.  :)

Was in Townsend area all weekend for 3 days. All lakes had 4 inches of frozen slush with at least 13 inches of good ice

Was just shy of Lakewood Friday at Anderson lake other side of mountain. Ice was still good. 6 inches of white slush frozen ice then at least 12 inches if not more of clear solid ice. That's the closest lake I can report on for you hope it helps.
