We been out about 22 times this spring in all different lakes we fish it been about average year in catch all crappies except the 2 times below Dubay Dam have been released. we still fish the 11-14 closer to the bottom. We have noticed a few more smaller crappie on Lake Wausau this year maybe because of the draw down. The weather been big factor to i think.Tight line to all

Caught and released a bunch of small walleyes and suckers below the Schofield Dam. Current is strong so be careful if you're out there fishing.

Ice fishing on Lake Wausau is officially OVER for me cause the lake is dead. More than 20 people with 1 thru 3 tip down poles, forming a line on Radtke to target crappies. Saw one or two of the fishermen pull in little ones. I did not mark anything on my hot spot. Wasted a good four hours on Lake Wausau. Ice fishing is done for the season.
Perches are too small - crappies okay but you need to find the spot and active fishes.
