MOON PHASE (72%)
Waning Gibbous

If anyone is going out please post a report.  I bet any drainage into the lake at any end of the lake will be holding some big fish.  I have baby duties so I hope someone slays them.

Are the launches flooded and lake blown out from the rains?

Fished just to the left of the SW launch in about 6 fow yesterday afternoon/evening from 4 til 8 pm. 2 flags, 1 stolen minnow, no fish. This year's ice fishing is just terrible. I don't get whole days just to sit out there anymore (work) and most of my fishing buddies are too busy to go with me. I am hoping to sneak in an afternoon trip this week after work. I was using medium shiners. I want to catch some of those cats I know are in there. Hope somebody else is doing better than me.

See you guys out there. We will be out all day Sunday. Hopefully it's better than last week, couldn't be much worse. Already have a friend out there today who has iced two medium-small pike this morning!

Same report. Went out to pin weeds from about 9:30 until 12:30. Not a flag but beware there is actually open water right on the pin weeds and in more than one spot. 8" right outside it. This despite it being so cold we were making at least a 1/4" of ice an hour on our tip up holes. Has to be springs. Moved out front of Freddys 2pm to dark and managed one flag and 20" pale pike and one Bluegill right off bottom on a spike.

Fish are gonna be hungry next couple days I imagine.

Good Luck

Was out for afternoon bite with a buddy. He got his first pike off a tip up. I got one and that was it. Few false flags. Some jerk off on an ice boat nearly ran over our tip ups and the guys' next to us. Nice people next to us out of their shack they told him off. I couldnt believe this ass drove between our shanties only 100 yards or less apart. On his second pass through he zipped by our shack and us @ a pretty good clip bout 20 feet away. I acted like I was gona through a spud bar @ him and I think he got the point. If it wasn't my buddy's spud skimmer it would have been sticking out the side of his boat.

Glad I wasn't the only one having slowest como day ever. Be safe out there. Ice thickness is safe but watch for those stupid ice boaters.

We were out by Inn the Drink all day yesterday. 10 flags or so but only 3 fish out of the hole. 2 pike, 20 and 24 in and a 14 in bass. Was real bad considering there were 5 of us and 15 tipups. Buddy lives on the lake so we fish it regularly, defiantly one of the worst days in a few years.

Svitreum you are not alone. I was on Como yesterday from 10-2 and had 1 flag that resulted in a pale looking hammer handle. Yesterday was my slowest day ever on Como. Talked to a nice guy from Kenosha who also had no action. Slow.
