Wow I guess I was lucky someone took the last spot. I parked in the lot no I didnt get a ticket. I have parked on the bottom previously without a problem. Thats bs. If it was more than $10 I would go to court. No way should that be enforced in the dead of winter. Not much boat launching going on yet.
Yes I was at the launch but not in a handicap spot. I just happen to come up when the officer was there writing the tickets. He said that only vehicles launching watercraft or unloading gear could park there and to be fair he was going to write everyone a ticket. I checked the upper lot and the sign said for vehicles launching watercraft only, so did everyone in the upper lot get a ticket as well. I've been fishing Beulah for 30 years and the police do this all the time. They turn the signs around and allow people to park and then one day they turn them back and write tickets. I pulled my shanty today, the launch was fine to get my ATV and shanty off. There was 3-4 inches of water in spots on top of the ice and some weep holes were opening up again. The ice was starting to cloud up pretty good also.

Report from Wednesday: tip ups were sloooooow, only a couple of slot bass but jigging for gills/perch was much better. Ice was clear and strong, pretty much drove around the whole lake except down by Fred's. Me, my ATV, and accessories probably weigh at least 1200 pounds. Hope this helps.
Hello to all Beulah fishermen! This is a shot in the dark, i was fishing the lake Jan. 26 for my birthday and received a call of a suddan death of a dear friend! Packed up and left leaving behind two beaver dam tip ups, a bag of jigs plastics jigging spoons and more in a white bucket. If by chance it was found I would pay a reward. Had the funeral last night Thursday and things just haven't been the same. Good luck to all!
