For open water when the season starts in may. Sorry for not being specific.
Wow BP do ur research end was the fifth which last I checked was sunday. Who made u lake police. Trust me I looked it up as krohns was a hard one to find the regulations. Plus I don't recall saying I kept any or what I caught but insinuate if u must but hey in the meantime why don't u go back to posting useful tips and experiences like the rest of us instead of playing warden and not knowing all the facts.

So I've seen no ice conditions for lake in awhile so a buddy and I checked it out. Was 13in of ice but cut like butter top few inches soft. Had a good time fishing. Caught a mixed bag of fish but bite was a little slow. Anybody know is bite better in morning or afternoon here for the trout.
What's the word on ice here. Krohns can be a good lake to fish just know it is a spring fed lake so use caution. I fish the peirs here alot when not packed with damn swimmers. But please anybody with an ice update for here or area. Much abliged.
Thanks for the advice, I live in Luxemburg, I tried Shea's with minimal luck, East Alaska last year late season with minimal luck. Any lakes you'd point me too? Again not looking for someone's secret spot, just enough to entertain my young son.
Is this a decent lake to take my 8 yr old to? Never fished it. Size is not as important as reliability of catch (as far as that's possible). Any tips would be great I'm not looking for any super secret spots just a general idea of bait and depth and maybe quadrant of the lake to start at. Thanks!
