Thanks, on that note I will be waiting a few weeks as well.
I checked it yesterday and it's starting to ice up. I walked out about 40 yards and found 2 to 4 inches when the spud went through I headed back the same way I came. I'm gong to wait a few more weeks before I trust it. If you be be smart and safe.
MOON PHASE (28%)
Walked out New Year's Day. Had good ice but less then I thought only 5-6 inches. Only had a few hours and didn't move much. Managed to pull about 30 perch up, one nice one and the rest small-very small. 18 fow. Going to try again soon. Wouldn't recommend driving trucks out yet.
MOON PHASE (6%)
31° - 35° F
Rained last night. The ice is very sloppy. Just off the north edge of the 30' hole. 2" of good ice with 2" of decent ice and an inch or 2 of slush on top at 14' of water. Give it another week it is not worth it!
