MOON PHASE (98%)
Waxing Gibbous

CONDITIONS
Partly Sunny

WATER TEMP
66° - 70° F

Spent a week on the Flowage from 6/9- 6/16. Landed dozens of northerns up to 27 inches and several smallmouth. We also managed some small muskies. Primarily saw action on bucktails in the cabbage weeds. Water temps were between 68-70. Didn’t fish much on the last two days due to several inches of rain. Weeds were lower than in past years due to the cold spring. Fishing was excellent.

MOON PHASE
Full Moon

Anybody been doing any fishing here lately? Caught a few smallies off shore last time I was here late last summer, wondering how other people are doing by the Bradley Dam and beyond

Was curious if anyone has any ice fishing tips. I've heard about some big perch under Bradley dam...but where could we set up a portable shack? Not looking to deplete the fish population!! Thought the kids would like to get some rod n reel action! Any help appreciated Smile

edit: we've probably had less luck because the last 2-3 years there has been cruddy weather the entire opening weekend.

arny I usually come up on opening weekend with family, we usually go the Bradley Dam one morning. In recent years its been slower and more walleye than perch are caught, plus those stinkin bullheads Doh!. There is also the possibility of catching a nice pike bass or muskie from the shore. Use live bait and you should have some action but the past few years I have been disappointed to be honest.

Does the big perch run that I've heard several people talk about still take place in the spring here in recent years or has it died off as of late. It's quite hard to find a spot where you can catch perch on a consistent basis and from what I've heard this is no secret as it is hard to get a spot by the dam when it is on. Yet the perch are still there yearly.

Had a great trip to the Jersey over Labor Day weekend. Smallmouth fishing was pretty good and the perch were great. Most perch were between 8-11 inches. Did not see a Musky nor did I see a walleye. This smallie was the largest at 19.25". Lots of weeds to sift through. A great little lake and I'll definately be back.

Fished two weekends ago and this last weekend. Caught our limits both weekends but they are getting smaller. Many two weekends ago were 11" now the biggest was 10". We had to sort lots this past weekend, maybe kept 1 in 5 last time kept every other one. Small jigs and crawler piece. Lots of guys using bobbers but not us. If you catching small ones MOVE it worked for us. If your stuck on shore be early and expect not to catch as many. Some guys using small minnies (rosey worked better). We did catch quite a few the first weekend on cut minnows. Can't make it back for a couple weeks so have at them. GRUMAN
