I don't know that this page gets used a lot since not very many people fish this lake. I personally have a cabin on the lake so I fish it every summer. I have always thought it unsafe to fish during Ice fishing season due to the current, and parts of the flowage never freezing over. I'll be posting more though during the spring, summer, and fall. If anyone else reads this, please let me know and I'll give updates whenever I go out.
To me, this flowage seems like a very underrated place to fish. I find myself finding decent northern and fat smallmouth every time I fish it. Personally, I have the best luck up by the upper dam and on the sides of the channel leading up to it. I'm talking about the area between the two bridges. I haven't had much of a problem with the bullheads lately. I'm not sure what happened to them... There are TONS of small perch everywhere and I'm fully convinced large ones exist in the lake. There are also good sized Muskie swimming around. Finding them seems to be the difficult part. As always.
Again, let me know if anyone actually reads this page, and have a great weekend!

Spent a week on the Flowage from 6/9- 6/16. Landed dozens of northerns up to 27 inches and several smallmouth. We also managed some small muskies. Primarily saw action on bucktails in the cabbage weeds. Water temps were between 68-70. Didn’t fish much on the last two days due to several inches of rain. Weeds were lower than in past years due to the cold spring. Fishing was excellent.
