I've been seeing a lot of people out off the trail fishing here, was thinking of going this weekend. What kinds of fish are being caught out there? Would love to catch some panfish for dinner, thanks to all

Anything being caught at Jefferson park. I just started fishing again last year and my kids really enjoy fishing. I want to bring them out and get them into a hobby while they are still young. They don't care if it's a sheep head. Just want to know if anything is being caught at the park. Otherwise we where going to try Neenah by the lighthouse.

Was out for a few hours this evening casting a variety of colored spinners to see if the crappie had made it into the pond yet. No bites at all. Water still full of algae but not surface algae so you can cast, the weeds on the bottom are getting thick which is usually a sign the bluegills and crappies are moving in but so far this year with all the rain and weird weather it isn't so yet. Reminder to everyone to be courteous to the area and not leave garbage in the area. Tight lines everyone and good fishing!
