My go to SM Bass lake.  Lake muddy looking from storms, piers in water and trees down.  2 Hours out and wind started, white caps.  Blown off-zippo.  If it isn't raining we have strong winds-what a year.  PS wrong Indian, other one

First time on this lake ever. Came up to a buddies cabin to check it out. Tried for pannies but no dice. Did good on Northerns though. Ended up with 18 in 2 days. Kept 12 for pickling. Talked to another group of guys that found crappies but 3 guys, 10 hours for only 13 keepers. Had fun and may be back to try in the summer. Tite lines guys. Cool

First time I've been on this lake during open water season. Caught quite a few little northern, some bluegill, one nice perch, some nice rock bass, and one REALLY NICE walleye. The walleye was 28" and about 8lbs. It was caught on a hot chub colored rapala taildancer. Took about 5-10 minutes to land.

Hello everyone, this was my first time being on this lake and i must say I'm pretty impressed by it. The bluegills were biting fairly consistently until the pike were moving in. Fished in about 8ft of water from about 9 a.m. to about 4:30 p.m. The pike were biting on and off all day as well but pretty small. My partner caught a nice 14 inch crappie as well. All day I figured I caught about 30-40 bluegill ranging from 3-8.5 inches and I would say that about 1 out of every 3 gills were keepers.

There were plenty of weeds in the area. My partner and I tried for some walleye too but not a single one. Would like to try this lake in the summer. This trip took place on Jan 5.

LG, Water levels are fine. This is basically a bleugill/bass lake. Most of the bass are small.

I'm looking for some info on where I can catch bluegills or crappies on this lake this time of year. I can trade info on another area lake that has some great spring crappie action.
