Wife and I tried every depth out to 26 ft. Tried jigging with lead head swimbaits , jign minnow , leech's, crawlers. No luck. Threw out the crawler harness's and headed for the reef. Once we figured out the white perch were stealing our crawlers we put on gulp crawlers and found walleyes in 12 - 16 ft running south to North along the east side of the reef.

I didn't catch any fish. I couldn't get to the areas that I normally fish.
I checked several holes with the camera and didn't see any fish.
Personally, I look for around 12 feet of water for the whitefish and walleyes.
Some guys fish shallower for northerns and perch.
If you go out, good luck.
Geanos doesn't charge to access the bay for ice fishing, they only charge for the boat ramp during the open water season. The ice along the shore is mushy but still accessible. Not many people going out from Geanos due to a good size crack/ice shove about 1/4 mile out that blocks you from getting out to the deeper water. There is not much slush on the ice right now but will probably change if we get snow today. There are areas of standing water you have to navigate around. I drilled several holes and the ice was between 11 and 13 inches thick. There is one permanent ice shack out just south of the break wall
