Little guy,

Follow the current flow, outside edge on outside of bend and center on straight stretches.  Stay away from inside of bend under power.

A fellow Lake Linker and I are gonna explore the Fox River near Eureka tomorrow morning in search of some catfish... or whatever else might be on the bite! I've shore fished this area, but never from a boat, so I'm wondering if there are any particular hazard spots in this area. I fish the wi river a lot, and river systems can REALLY mess up an outboard motor (been there, done that!) :-/

Any cautionary tips, would be appreciated. Excited about trying out a new river/ area for my fine whiskered friends! ;-))

PM if ya,wish... Thanx! :-0

Ralph :-))

MOON PHASE (94%)
Waning Gibbous
Fished from Omro up to the dam so I guess this post could go either way. Took home several nice meals of white bass and caught a Northern, Large Mouth and Sheepshead but the day started slow. It seemed to pick up as the day went on. However by 2 o'clock I was cold and wet and had enough fish so I called it a day. All my fish came from slack water seams. Hot Pink and chartreuse/ orange were my best colors. I saw some guys doing real well using jigs and minnows. Took some pics of a guy ignoring the slow no wake. He slowed down then! I'm debating on whether to send them to the warden or if I got my point across.

The white bass run is usually the last Saturday in April. I hear water levels are real low. Anyone know if the rains have helped bring up the levels and current

Has any body been catching any fish yet. Is it still low or is there some current? Thanks Musky
