MOON PHASE (35%)
Waning Crescent
Water is still high and the action had been very slow. Best results are found in the early morning hours on less windy days. Flies and minnows has worked equally well. Lots of dead fish floating around on the other side of the dam so not sure if you'll want to eat the fishes coming out of this river during this time.

Maybe in Eureka CA....

Not much going on here. 3 other boats out in the afternoon and one was putting in the  NO WAKE bouys.

Saw one fish caught. (Not by me) Only a couple people on shore.

Water was 41° and still very low.

Like I said before I know it's early but powerman are you saying in the last 5 years you've been able to pull a limit of walleyes from here?  The reason why I ask is because I have fished "the run" and it does get better soon but I can't catch a limit to save my butt.  10 years ago yeah I could but not in the last 5 years

Like the guy before you said give it two weeks it’s early yet, then you come back back I know it’s early but guys use to get their limit. Let me tell you again, it’s early, give it two weeks. Wallyes are a little lethargic at this time, not like ice fishing when your presentation is much slower. As the water warms they will get more active each day, I use to kill the walleyes here as well years ago like in the mid to late 70’s, use to pull all nighters.
