i CHECKED OUT THE PROPERTY YESTERDAY HOPING TO get in a few casts but found it hard if not impossible to fish from my wheelchair. Is there an improved trail somewhere I missed? All I saw was a small unimroved walking tril that started just to left of the landing. Does that lead to the lock and dam or did I miss something? the WDNR site says there are piers there...somewhere? Also looked in town at shore fishing spots and those looked decent.

Thanks for any help, Looks like I got a few months to figure things out,

MOON PHASE (61%)
Waxing Gibbous

CONDITIONS
Partly Sunny

AIR TEMP

Hit below the dam on a tip, and chased smallies and walleyes. Jig and a minnow, smallies were nice sized, 1- 3 pounds, and walleyes were in there as well, heavy splithot and a minnow, let it drift with the current, all fish released, and biggest eye was 18 incher.

Caught 12 whitebass yesterday and 2 catfish.  In about 4 hours kind of slow. Eggs were getting soft. Good luck.

Fished from the shores early yesterday morning until mid afternoon. Fishes were slow to hit. Minnows didn't work well for us. Caught a dozen or so on crawler's before moving onto New London where we landed 54 WB using shiners on a river rig.

Fished from omro to the dam. Caught a dozen white bass, 2 northerns and 1 small mouth bass. It was really slow. Saw 1 guy catching them on every cast he was in a hole that was on fire no one around him catching anything. Was still nice to get out. Tight lines gentlemen good luck.

A whole lot of nothing going on there. A lot of people fishing but no catching. I tried minnows, leeches, and some flies. Nice weather but I'll be back when it's warmer and not so muddy.
