The truck was blue and I think the trailer and blazer were black or some sort of dark color.

Wentire down to big falls from the k road side. Got to the parking lot around 5:45. There was an old 70s or 80s truck maybe a Ford, possibly a Chevy. Rough shape, jacked up with big tires along with a blazer style vehicle hooked up to a trailer made from an old truck box. They were unloading stuff from the truck and trailer. We didnt think of it much since there was about 10 vehicles parked at the lot and people walking around. we left at 7:15 and saw there was a huge pile of garbage right where they were parked. Tvs, and all sorts of shit. I'm disgusted with these people. Only remember seeing a shorter lady, heavy set with died hair. Pissed at myself for not thinking more of it and seeing what they were up to.I hope these people get caught. Keep any eye out for that truck and get their plate number.

I'm going to be in Eau Claire on Friday, boatless, but with time to kill. Any suggestions on where I could fish from shore in the Eau Claire area. I'm not too particular on what I catch, just would like to get some fishing in. Thanks,

Just a quick report. Still getting perch at big falls as of weds. All males and they were milting big time. Suckers were thick as well. Got broke off a couple times, im guessing little norts.

Last week saw a guy get a very nice walleye right below the falls. Im guessing about 22-24 inches.

Thats it folks!

The crappie were done and very hard to find. Yet there were fish hitting hard and cutting line before we could get them to shore. Did find a Pike with a black and yellow twister tail on a black jig. There was also a nice pike and a nice walleye on fat head minnows.

The action for smallmouth bass did take off. Fat head minnows, leeches, & crawlers all produced a good source of action.

Thanks Ray for the local flavor on fishing the area. I will have to visit the area again next season. May be we shall fish side by side again some day.

I have been going to the south side off of Highway K. Its about 100 yard walk down to the falls and I have been fishing the pool at the bottom off the falls. That is where I got the Muskie, Pike, and Walleye a couple weeks ago.

I've been back a few times in the last week and things have really slowed down. I've tried everything in my tackle box without any luck. Fish must have moved on...

Tried it this afternoon for about 4 hours, one little pike on a clouser minnow.

...it sure is pretty though...

Is this off Hwy Q, as posted below, or Hwy QQ, the road the runs along the north side of the river?
