Taking my son and buddy out for a bit tomorrow. Anyone know how the ice is by launch? Drove passed and it looked ok but didn't see anyone out. Will have spud just in case.

Does anybody know the ice conditions on eagle spring?Thinking of fishing it tomorrow. I have fished this lake in the summer but never ice fished it. Anybody know how well or not so well this lake freezes? Looking to catch anything that bites. My PM is on. Any info would be great. Thanks guys.

Out earlier in the week......bass were active despite the Bluebird day. Sub surface crankbaits were the ticket to success.....find the cabbage weeds and you'll find the fish. Several bonus Crappies & my buddy also managed a Dogfish. No Pike seen???

Another great day to be on the water.

Pretty windy out tonight but did manage a couple of bass..only out for two hours. Was a little disappointed at the people taking their kids around the lake tubing. Kids were screaming and every other word out of their mouth was a loud f bomb. Kind of ruined the mood.

Went out this evening with Todd G. With the time we were allowed we decided to stay close to home and off of the bigger lakes. We had a blast! All the bass you could catch in very shallow water caught with top water lures. Last fall was the last time I was on Eagle Springs, I would have thought the bass would have gotten a little bigger, but not yet. Good luck! www.guideidefishing.com

I had heard about their predictions, stinks that they came true. Biggest I found was about 7.5" and looked like a hybrid similar to the one that has been up for discussion on the local Southeastern WI thread. That was part for the reason of going to Lulu. Oh well, their is always another day. On a side note I had forgot to mention the weeds were brown and looked really unhealthy. And in the bay I was catching gills there was signs posted on each pier that a pesticide had been sprayed recently.

There are slow/no wake buoys leading to the channel. Bass fishing on Lulu is decent, pike fishing, not so much

FishinDude, the big gills in Eagle springs are finally gone. The DNR predicted it would happen, since the large population of big gills that used to be there did not reproduce well for some reason. Thats why the panfish limit was reduced in the past

Is the channel that leads to Lulu Lake marked in any way? Is there a sign?

Is Lulu worth fishing for bass or northern?

Thanks.
