Since the legends report was deleted… was out today ice is ok 5-6” but shoreline will be broken up by Tuesday. Looks like ice fishing is done for the year 

Going out tomorrow morning but a little concerned with all the rain. How much ice is their currently? Think it will hold up?

Went out Saturday, bottom 3-4 inches of ice we’re clear and strong while top 3-4 inches were cloudy and weak. Lots of slush in some spots resulting in pools of water in some spots. Lots of atvs and snowmobiles out. Out for 6 hours had 5+ flags. Wouldn’t be surprised if there is more water on the ice soon due to the upcoming warmer weather. Get your fishing in while you still can.

Late Report: Was out Thursday morning from 7:30 to 11:30 ice was 4 inches everywhere we drilled and a lot of slush where we were. Of course the more holes you drill the more slush forms. Very surprised as we thought the ice would have been thicker by now. Had over 12 flags and landed 6 northern and a lot of very small perch. We believe the first Northern we caught saw his shadow, so 6 more weeks of ICE FISHING. Good Luck and Stay Safe      DEW

From Thursday: walked out 300 yds and fished a few hours catching some small perch. Ice 4 - 5 inches with slush in a few spots lots of frozen ruts wearing cheats is a good idea while leaving talked to the guys plowing the lot for the ice fisherman for this weekend’s Fisheree. Didn’t see any 4 wheelers suggesting foot travel only. Be careful.

BE CAREFUL… someone posted TODAY on the Southeastern Wisconsin Fishing facebook page that the west side of Eagle only has about 2” of ice under the snow…
