Couldnt find them when we tried Devils a few weekends ago. It was my first time fishing that lake though. Talked with a couple guys and they directed us to the shantyville that is just out and to the left of the launch. It is a weed/ sand flat, but all we caught there were crappies.

another tip I got was the northern half of the lake = rocks, southern half = sand.

Report from Saturday 1/14: Found some active gills and crappies in about 13 FOW and on green weeds. Jig color didnt seem to matter, but waxies/ spikes out-fished minnows. Caught around 30 keepers between four guys. Afternoon bite was much better than the morning bite.

gbass. Find the deep holes and fish the bottom 6", use jig/minnow or jig plastic. Bright florescent colors are better (usually), keep it SLOW unless they're on the chew, then you can pound flutter spoons. There are some very nice fish in Devils but you need to work it right to get them. Good luck and be safe

Fished the lake for 20 years, never really got on a good walleye bite however since it is a clear lake and has always been tough, you might get a few but I would say you will get a ton of little bass and hammerhandle pike before you get one as the lake is loaded with them. Fished up there last weekend and couldn't keep the hammerhandles off the panfish jigs even..

Heading up to the area this weekend with some buddies and we were going to give Devils a try. We will be targeting walleye, and I would just like to know if there is a night bite on this lake. If you have other helpful info that would be great too!

Feel free to PM me.

Had a big group out on 2/8/15, close to 30 lines in the water. First time fishing this lake. Went out towards the middle of the lake, tried setting up on varying points of all the structure. There wasn't a steady pattern to the fish. Caught ALOT of tiny (like 12" or smaller)pike, one decent fish in the mid 20" range. We landed 2 walleyes one just before and the other just after dark, bother were under 15" Sad
