MOON PHASE
New Moon

Fished Cox tonight after work. Slow like it has been all year for me. Picked up a few marginal gills@ 7 inches and a bonus 18 inch walleye on the jig pole.

MOON PHASE
Last Quarter

CONDITIONS
Cloudy

AIR TEMP
26° - 30° F

Out on Sunday from 2-6PM.  Nothing but small perch for the first 2 hours (very finicky).  Finally got into a few nice gills right before dark.  Not much after dark, one short walleye on a crappie minnow.  Put my camera down quite a few holes and there seemed to be small perch everywhere.

Good luck!  Mike

MOON PHASE (84%)
Waxing Gibbous

Fished Cox tonight and slow was the word. Fished in 10-13 feet of water and marked fish but had few biters. Caught a handful of small perch, two crappies and a nice sized pumpkinseed.

Fished yesterday in the bitter cold.  Pan fish were biting good but had to pick through to find some eaters.  7" of ice and building fast.

Me and two guys went out around 2:30. We went straight out from the boat landing to the far side then worked our way towards the point. Came home with three gills. caught several perch and small gills. Seemed to be a lot of guys with tups but none seemed to be having much luck.

Went out early yesterday morning to twin valley because cox hasn't been the best. Fished twin valley by the dam and picked up a few perch and 2 blue gills.  Tried a few more spots at twin with no luck so we packed up and went to cox. We moved around and could not catch anything besides small perch. There was one location where we picked up some gills and consistently marked fish.  Overall not the best fishing

Went out at around 2 pm yesterday. Fished mainly in the bay out from the dog beach. Caught around 6 blue gill, 4 keepers, and 6 or so perch, none that were over 4 inches. Seemed to be pretty good ice. Went out towards middle of the lake and there was noticeably less ice but still enough to walk on.

Out yesterday for the first time.  I stuck to the dog beach because it's been a little warmer and I didn't want to go too far out.  There were two guys in deeper water but most were close to the beach.  Ice was about 3-4 inches, but varied with every hole I drilled.  A lot of small gills.  Finally got a really nice one (biggest ever for me on Cox) at sundown.  Good to see that there are still some big bull gills in the lake!  People around me were catching a few keeper perch, not sure what they using for perch on Cox.  I only had wax worms.  Good luck and be safe! Mike

PS - The big gill is still swimming.

We went out around 9 AM this morning.  Ice was in great condition.  A lot of folks were set up in the dog beach bay.  A few of us were spread out from the stretch between the boat launch and the dog beach.

We didn't mark squat, heard others struggled too.  Either way it was great to be out on the ice.

Any ice reports for Cox or Twin Valley yet?

Some people fishing Cruisin' Slu near Lone Rock last Sunday. So it shouldn't be long!
