Hey guys, like cronk (from below) i'm also think about heading up to the Cornell flowage to fish from shore under the dam. i was also wonder if the was anywhere i could access the river near the dam on either side. If so, are there any baits, tactics, species to target, or tips. Thank you

fishfvr I just wanted to know if there was access to the river below the dam in cornell to fish from shore. I will not be fishing from a boat.

cronk there is a boat landing south of cornell on hwy 178. be careful north of the motel . gets shallow and a lot of big rock.your post on cornell lake was for a lake west of town. if you want to fish above the dam, there is a landing near the city shop.

Hey guys, im not sure if this is the right thread. it was this or start a new one. anyways im coming up to fish the chip around cornell. A few guys have told me to fish below the dam in town. Ive looked at the maps(google), but cant seem to see where I could access the river below the dam. Id like to fish the town side of the river.

if anyone could let me know where to access the river there id be grateful. IF I can not get to the river at that spot would anyone have any ideas for shore line spots? Im easy as far as species go. walleye bass muskies crappies. the usual list of suspects. thanks in advance guys!!!!

Cronk

Be safe and good fishin!!!!

I wasn't overly impressed with the fishing, but that could have been just me not being able to figure out a pattern or 2 while we were there. We are going back this August, loved the campground and I do want to build off what did work when I was there last.

Is the fishing good or would you bypass this and go to Holcombe Flowage? Guess it really does not matter since I am just going to relax that whole week.
