Flambuea Forrest Inn reported 20 inches this past weekend. My uncle was up there 2/18 and said he saw trucks on the ice.

FFI is hosting a derby this weekend. They are keeping everyone updated on the ice on their Facebook. Link below.

Stay safe. Tight lines.

Was up on conners last week and didn't see anyone on lake. Weather was like spring and most snowmobile trails were bad.  Some guys walking out on LOP, but not many fishing. Think we're done enjoying the north woods for now.

Also heading up tonight, curious of conditions. Will check it out tomorrow and post what I find if no one gets to it first. If you call the Flambeau Forest Inn they can probably tell you conditions for both lakes. You can also message them on Facebook. They are usually responsive on there. Some friends and I will be out all weekend. Stop by the red eskimo and clam.

Not a fishing report just a question regarding ice conditions?  Surprised the local establishments don't post info on this link.  Like to get up fishing, but would be nice to have some input from the locals.

Looking for lake conditions?  Weather should have made good ice for the month, but like to hear from a fisherman who is actually on the ice with the depth.  Thanks

MOON PHASE (98%)
Waning Gibbous

Fished 8/11 to 8/13. Overcast skies and active weather made for good fishing. Lots of 14 inch walleye with 5 keepers. Not a lot of smallmouth but 2 nice ones. BIL got the 18 off the dock and I got my personal best @ 20 inches and 5.5 lbs. in the boat.

May of 2014! That is some fishing report. I know your fishing the lake and catching all the monsters, but a little info for safety and for local info on fishing.
