Yeah it’s good in fall for eyes and whitebass.  A few crappies and perch on occasion.

MOON PHASE (8%)
Waxing Crescent

CONDITIONS
Partly Sunny

AIR TEMP
66° - 70° F

WATER TEMP
51° - 55° F
Fished for walleye with bottom bouncer and minnow on a spinner rig but all that we caught were undersized. Caught one decent northern with a Northland rattle jig and minnow.  Very frustrated with how windy Castle Rock has been this year.  We tried to fish near the rail bridge but it was so windy it was impossible. Going to do the rest of my fall walleye fishing on Lake Wisconsin or the river.

MOON PHASE
Last Quarter

X-Rap2

The water temp yesterday when I left the lake at noon was 63 degrees. The past few times out there the bite has been extremely slow. I have never seen the algae on "The Rock" as thick as it is right now. "Pete" is the same. It clings to you line as you're jigging, and the jig is covered with it when you bring it up.  Yesterday, Larry, Charlie and I  managed some "shorties" pulling flies, and a few crappies on small jigs.

Keep a tight line!!!

Jerry

Page has been a little quiet.  Wondering if anyone can post current water temps out on the lake?  Thanks

MOON PHASE (89%)
Waning Gibbous

I’m headed up next weekend and will be targeting muskies. I suspect with the water temperatures being warmer they’ll still be shallower. Any reports or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank.
