Went out from 1230 till 530 with seven people. Couple small gills, a perch, a white bass, one little snake northern. And myself personally three crappie, two were twelve. And I had a northern on a tipup that snapped my line. Think I set it to hard. Good day all in all.

Had about 40 gils out of the water after a full day out only kept 12 between 2 of us. Ice along shore line is sketchy for the first couple feet out then it's fine. Fished the hole closest to the train tracks with pink, yellow, and green getting it done with waxies and minnows and even some on plastics

Did well yesterday. Fished about 30yards south of the NW boat launch about 25 yards from shore. Solid 12" of ice in all the holes. Between 2 of us we caught 12 northern on about 15 flags. Alot of snakes 1 or 2 in low 20s. Fiancé got a beautiful 34" though. All flags were from about 8-10am. Stayed until around 12. Only one flag after 10.
Checked back to view shooter's post and reread yours, Lineman. I am busting a gut at your diagram. That is the post of the year for me.. They need to start a business with that on the side of a company truck. I'd hire them, lol. Only in Wisconsin...
You guys that fish Camp Lake, how's Center Lake (Next one over) for ice fishing? My buddy has a house there right at the mouth of the channel where it meets the lake on the East side. He doesn't fish. I've only fished it in the summer from my Yak and can catch Large Mouth all early evening long... until the bow fishermen come around and stir things up (Revving their motors to when they get stuck). Usually catch smaller ones (12-14"), but once a larger one (4-5 lbs) right by the beach (Great spot). I can mark fish in brush on my Lowrance and catch Gills usually. Never noted the GPS coordinates as I was just learning the unit this summer. Anyways, the Gills were usually hand sized at best. Nobody ever reports what's on that lake.
I'm heading there in the morning and staying til Monday (Or Tuesday if the weather is bad). Where's a good spot (Lake/ location) anywhere around there that's good for catching Gills, crappie, or perch? I'm taking my 14yo daughter ice fishing for her first time... don't wanna get skunked if I can help it. Is Camp Lake a better lake. P.S. Any Intel shared will be kept secret. I catch and release 100%... unless I'm on a spot with eatin sized walleye, perch or panfish... then It's chow time. lol
