Brandy Lake is a guppy tank. Between 4 of us doing 3.5 hours of fishing we got lots of fish but we're they ever tiny. We each ran 2 tip-ups for lmb and northerns and jigged about 50 other holes for panfish. We got 200+ gills and a few perch but the largest were 5". On the flags we got 3 snake northerns 11"-14" and 4 bass between 10" and 11.5". With all the extremely heavy pressure on this lake year round it would be amazing to see anything much bigger than the ones we got......Try someplace else.

No fish left worth fishing for in there due to the spearing every yr that happends there, its not worth wasting your time on. Plus eurasian milfoil has takin over the lake.

Been fishing Brandy hard since the opener. Lots of bass in the lake, cast a worm into a patch of pads and its almost a guaranteed fish. But, of the 17 bass i caught over the last 3 days, only two were legal. and they were only 14 inches. Gills are shallow, crappies on minnows. Not much size to either. Brandy has lots of fish, not going to lie, but the average size of each specie is much lower than average.

Have a place on Brandy. We fish it hard during open and hard water seasons. If stunted gills and small hammer handles are your thing,Brandy will satisfy. When we got the place we thought it had some great potential, but over the last four years it hasnt produced like we thought it would. Its a big bowl. No structure, and almost no potential for trophy size fish. Constant action with the gills, but they all range 4-6 inches.

First time on Brandy over the past weekend. Pretty lake, as they all seem to be up in that area. Kids had a ball with Bluegill and Perch just outside weedlines in 7-10 fow on crappie minnows and crawler chunks. Got a variety of Northern, Largemouth and even a small Musky casting cranks, Mepps and Flukes in and around weeds. Lots of Musky hunters throwing large bucktails both days..
