MOON PHASE (30%)
Waxing Crescent
Not many days left in the year, but there's still open water so there's fish to shoot. We had awesome nights on the water lately with some small pond/smaller fish action. Three separate trips yielded 114, 76, and 86 fish. These fish only average 1-3 lbs, but there are a lot of them. We fit 100 fish in one bucket the night we landed 114.

My large boat is out of commission until spring as I make some needed repairs and updates, so I'm using my smaller 14' boat now. We fished 5 guys out of it last trip and it wasn't too scary Smile

Don't forget about the promotion I'm running in December for 2016, you can read it a couple of posts down.

Fishing has been good up until the rain recently. We had trips of 73 fish and 27 fish in the past 2 weeks. Looks like we may squeak out one or two more trips this weekend yet. If you want to try bowfishing and save some money in the process, consider my December promotion. Save 10% if you book this month for a trip next year. Big Smile

A little late on this report, but we headed back out on Tuesday night last week and the weather was pretty much perfect. The fish were cooperating too. Put 68 in the boat in a little under 5 hours.

Open water means that bowfishing season isn't over yet. Took 4 first-time shooters out on a local river and everyone scored a couple of fish. Beautiful weather and not too cold. Everything seems to be running really late this year. With the way we're going we'll be fishing into December again. I won't put the boat away until there's ice one the water, so call me up if you want to give this a shot.

Got out last night and put 26 in the boat! Can't beat a 70 degree night in the middle of October. Also shot this hog to top off the already great night. Out from 7:15 to 9:15. Northern Wisconsin

Last night was just too good to pass up. Clinton and I headed out to one of our favorite spots and boated 29 fish. 2 of our carp were over 25# with the biggest at a little over 27#. A nice mix of carp, suckers, redhorse and even a shad. We fished some normal spots and did a little exploring and found another spot that I'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

Still plenty of time to hit the water and I still have some weekend availability yet in the month of October. It's not to late to try one of the fastest growing outdoor sports in the nation. Give me a call, or PM me, to get in on the action.

I had the privilege to take out Matt and Zeke last week, both students at Whitewater, as well as Jaron, up from Alabama for training in Waukesha. The weather was pretty much perfect and the fish were zipping around all night. We were one species away from taking all the legal species (no dogfish) in the lake. 11 fish total, our biggest carp, taken by Zeke, was 24#12oz. Matt's gar was just under 5# and one of the biggest shot by a client this year. Jaron put his share of fish in the boat as well. We also had a few heart-breaking pull-offs on some nice fish. These guys worked great together and the high-5's and fist bumps throughout the night proved what a great night it was.

Headed back out on scouting trips twice on the weekend and I guess I made bad lake choices because the fish were scattered and visibility was off. This week's weather shift has kept me off the water, but I'll be back out next week and weekend. Still have a couple of trips on the books and plenty of availability. It's not too late to make it happen.

Hit the water again last night in the West Bend area and found a few areas with actively feeding fish. My buddy and I loaded 15 fish in the boat in about 4 hours. At least 3 fish over 20# and some near misses on quite a few more. It was a perfect night on the water!
