MOON PHASE (73%)
Waxing Gibbous

CONDITIONS
Partly Sunny

AIR TEMP
81° - 88° F

WATER TEMP
76° - 80° F

Fished on Sunday the 19th and had 10 follows but no takers. Water is extremely clear after being treated this year so no more pea soup color. Not sure if that helped or hurt us. Every fish that came in was following hard but turned boatside without following the bait in a figure 8 so it was extremely frustrating. Down-sized baits and threw everything at em but couldn't get one to commit.

Was fishing in the tourney, some guys did catch fish but not our boat.

I was out last Saturday, fished in about 20' of water. Perch were  constant. Didn't keep any, and I only noticed one that looked like it had parasites. Had a couple of flags, but didn't catch anything, Alton the shiners were a bit mauled!

Went out yesterday by the North landing. About 8' of water, near the permanent shacks. About a zillion 4" bluegills, all biting aggressively on anything I dropped. I had the camera, so I was looking for bigger ones, ended up keeping about a dozen 7 inches. Also caught a 9" and a 14" bass, and lost another at the hole. Saw a bunch of pike on the camera, but no flags.

If was fun, and I'll probably take my 9 year old and his buddy out this weekend.

Any tips for targeting a little bigger size, or is this lake only producing little ones?

Ventured out on the lake this past weekend. My friends and I managed to catch about 100 bluegills/pumpkinseeds. We kept one limit. Caught a fair amount of 25-30 inch northerns as well. However we could not find any crappies or perch. We were on the north end. Any suggestions on where the crappies and perch hold on the lake? Catching sunnies non stop was a blast but are not the funnest to keep and clean. However they were schooled up anywhere in 6 to 15 feet and were stacked like cordwood.
