I was out last Saturday, fished in about 20' of water. Perch were constant. Didn't keep any, and I only noticed one that looked like it had parasites. Had a couple of flags, but didn't catch anything, Alton the shiners were a bit mauled!

Went out yesterday by the North landing. About 8' of water, near the permanent shacks. About a zillion 4" bluegills, all biting aggressively on anything I dropped. I had the camera, so I was looking for bigger ones, ended up keeping about a dozen 7 inches. Also caught a 9" and a 14" bass, and lost another at the hole. Saw a bunch of pike on the camera, but no flags.
If was fun, and I'll probably take my 9 year old and his buddy out this weekend.
Any tips for targeting a little bigger size, or is this lake only producing little ones?
