I'm a local looking to fish Big Silver for the first time. Any tips or spots? Mostly looking for Bass/Northern. Any areas in the lake I should be careful in or avoid?

No luck over in the part of the state where I am from. Was recommended to check out this lake. Anybody got any tips for some pike and/or pan fish on this lake? Thanks.

Live in the area, have never ice fished it. I am familiar with the lake, hoping to get out soon and try it. Just looking for any tips or some spots to try and work off of for jigging and flags. Thanks in advance! Safe fishing!

I fish this lake quite often. I have never had much luck and would love to get this thread going so we can start to have some success. I am especially looking for an ice fishing spot on the north side of the lake. I know that foxtail is good but that's a hike from our place. I would like to find a place to setup for the whole weekend while I'm at the lake.

For summer fishing, we've had some luck with weedless jigs for bass around Chicago point. I haven't been able to get enough gills for a fry and that's what I really want to do. Usually just hang a work out with a bobber where we can see a dropoff. Still learning the lake so any advice is appreciated. I can't imagine the holiday is going to great for fishing. Will probably spend a good amount of time at the Country Club.

Fished Foxtail bay Friday and Saturday afternoon into early evening. Managed a few Crappie and gills for the pan and had some decent action on the flags. Largest pike was 24" and was happy to see that it was a very healthy, well fed fish.

I was happy to see the bay full of people fishing again. Good luck to all!

I know people have been fishing for a few weeks but how is the travel and ice depth. walking only, creepers needed? 4 wheeler travel ok or not thick enough yet? thanks in advance-would be coming from a little bit of a distance just want to be prepared.
