Looking for lake travel on the Polk County Lakes. Coming up for a 4 day trip and curious if people have been out after the snow this weekend. Hopefully good for 4 wheel drive pickups?

Caught 3 limits of 8 to 9 inch sunfish. But only 3 crappies on the north east end of lake. Crappies are typically in the 6 to 8 inch range but 10 to 11 inchers are out there. The walleyes basically disappeared out there over the last 3 years. But the bass and northern sizes are increasing big time. We got a 40 inch northern out there this winter. And the bass actually bite on tipups out there all winter. With many in the 16 inch size bracket with some reaching 18 and 20.
Heading to Big Round today. Never fished it before wondering what to use for walleye and crappie. Where is the best spot to go for crappie and walleye. Taking my five year old son and want him to have a good time. PM please if you don't want to broadcast any tips over the open network. Thanks
Never fished here before, might have some time to try Saturday morning. Wondering if the ice is ok for truck travel, and also if there is any spots to watch out for? Any tips in general for this lake would be helpful too. Will probably be targeting walleye and crappie. PM if you would like. I will post a report if I end up going here. Thanks

Well first off I would like to recognize the fools who don't post fishing reports. But expect people to report where your vex is. Lol give nothing expect everything. Anyways walleyes are still hammering out on big round crappies and sunfish as well. A lot easier to find the fish with the new vexilar I recently acquired. From cabelas that is. But anyway I expect everyone to get out there and catch some fish! Good luck
