First time on this lake and the the locals said the water was over a foot high. Tough fishing. Saw some guys pulling up some small bass and all we caught was some small gills. The water was way dark when supposedly it's suppose to be very clear. Would like to try this lake again when it's back to "normal."

Good luck and tight lines

Looking at probably coming out on Saturday...I see there are a few of you inquiring about how the fishing is, but not response! I'm in the same boat. I usually hit this lake up a couple times every winter so any help would be appreciated. Mainly looking for crappies and tip-ups for northers.

Thanks!

Has anyone been out since the rain we got last week? Was wondering how the ice is holding up. I would like to go out this weekend and give her a try! Any help would be appreciated.

Ive heard of a few walleyes being caught on the hump between the 2 points on the west side of the lake. Few crappies being taken there also and the bass are always active pretty much all summer long in the lily pads always seem to catch a few big ones every year. Troll Crankbaits along the weedlines and over the hump for walleyes or jig/minnow on the hump. For bass i like to use yellow or green crankbaits and jigs or any type of frog in the pads.
